Mary Alice is a Pharmaceutical Industry leader and subject matter expert leveraging over 25 years of global experience in various aspects of Medical Affairs and Clinical Development.
With an emphasis on enhancing strategic focus, driving efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring launch preparedness, and creating meaningful metrics, Mary Alice supports organizations across the life sciences industry.
In previous roles, Mary Alice has led teams at Hoffmann-LaRoche, Glaxo, Takeda and Pharmacia. She spent 15 years at AstraZeneca in both US and Global Leadership roles and was responsible for developing and leading the Global Medical Excellence function. Most recently Mary Alice was Founder and Principal Consultant with Medical Innovation and Insights, LLC. Mary Alice is also Chair of the Executive Program Committee for Medical Affairs Professional Society (MAPS) and Chair of the Medical Affairs Digital Council, whose vision is to support Medical Affairs organizations’ efforts to embrace technology and innovation through a digital and data-driven model.
Mary Alice lives in the US and in her spare time can be found working on her sailing skills along the coast of Maine.
